Meet the Designer
Katherine Laureano-Cilio developed a passion for design and construction as a child in her father's carpentry shop. Inspired by his work ethic, she later cared for an interior designer’s child and enjoyed experimenting with design tools. Motivated by these experiences, she pursued a career in Interior Design to create comforting, timeless designs. She attained certification and began her career at Bassett Furniture, then moved to The Holiday Organization, working on custom homes and model home designs. Kathy continues to learn about trends and classic design, using 3D rendering software to visualize projects before execution, making adjustments to floorplans, furniture, and colors. Katherine got her interior design certification in 2006 from The Metropolitan Institute of Interior Design.
